Annadanam — the offering of food — is revered as the highest daan, and feeding Brahmins and pilgrims at Kashi or Prayagraj carries special merit, often performed to complete a shraddh or fulfil a vow. We arrange the bhoj in your family’s name; the available photographs or sankalp confirmation are agreed for each booking.
How your family takes part — from anywhere
- Tell us the ritual, the holy place and the names & gotra of your family (and of the departed, for ancestral rites) on WhatsApp.
- We confirm the local pandit, date, ritual scope, availability and final written price.
- If live video is available for that booking, you join while the sankalp is taken in your name; otherwise we confirm what photos or recording can be provided.
- Before payment, we confirm whether prasad or tirth-jal is available and whether it can be couriered to your destination.
Independent service: Pandit For You is an independent facilitator and is not an official representative of any named temple or trust. Pandit availability, ritual access, live video, recording, prasad, tirth-jal and courier eligibility are confirmed separately for each booking. Temple authorities control entry, darshan and on-site rules.
The ritual, step by step
- Sankalp taken in your name and gotra (and for the departed, if it completes a shraddh).
- Arrangement of a sattvic bhoj for the chosen number of Brahmins / pilgrims.
- Serving of the meal with respect at the holy place.
- Any available photographs, participant count and sankalp details shared as agreed for the booking.
What’s included
The pandit’s dakshina and standard puja samagri for Brahman Bhoj / Annadanam at Kashi · Prayagraj are included in the starting price, excluding applicable GST. The sankalp is taken in your family’s name and gotra. Any prasad or tirth-jal delivery, live participation, add-ons, expanded vidhi or specific ghat is confirmed in writing before you pay.

Can this complete my ancestral shraddh?
Yes, Brahman bhoj is a traditional concluding part of shraddh; it can be arranged alongside Gaya, Kashi or Prayagraj pind daan.
