The ritual, step by step
- Sankalp taken in your name, gotra and the names of the departed.
- Vishwadev sthapana and puja invoking the deities who witness the rite.
- Pinda pradan — offering of rice-balls to the ancestors at the Vishnupad / Falgu ghat.
- Tarpan with til and water, and Brahman bhojan (feeding of priests) to complete the shraddh.
What’s included

Yes — this is a tirtha service performed on your behalf. You join by live video where possible, the sankalp is taken in your name and gotra, and prasad, tirth-jal and a recording are couriered to you afterwards.
Do I need to travel to Gaya myself?
No. If you cannot travel, our pandits perform the complete Gaya Pind Daan on your behalf — you join by live video and receive the recording, photos and prasad afterwards. Families who do travel are received and guided at the ghat.
Can it be done for more than one ancestor?
Yes. The sankalp can name multiple departed family members and your gotra; tell us the names when booking and the vidhi is performed accordingly.
