These terms govern your use of the Pandit For You website and the booking of puja and pandit services from Pandit For You ("we", "us"). By using the site or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Pandit For You coordinates requests for pandits who perform pujas, homas, yaagas, samskaras and related ceremonies, plus samagri, scheduling and, where confirmed for a booking, remote participation.

2. Bookings & pricing

• Prices shown on the website are indicative starting prices, excluding GST, and do not constitute a fixed or binding quote. Before you pay, we confirm a final written quote that shows applicable GST and the included samagri, dakshina, travel and any optional additions.
• Prices may vary from those displayed. The final price for any ritual depends on, among other things:
  • the season and festival calendar (rates are typically higher around major festivals and peak muhurat dates);
  • pandit availability and the number, seniority, language and tradition of the pandit(s) required;
  • the muhurat, date, time and duration of the ceremony;
  • your city, venue and travel (including outstation or NRI / e-puja arrangements);
  • the availability and prevailing market cost of samagri and any prasad, and
  • other factors such as weather, logistics and any add-ons you request.
• Because these factors change, the price shown when you browse may differ from the quote we give at the time of booking. We will always share the exact, itemised price for your booking before taking any payment, and you are free to decline.
• A booking is confirmed when the 25% advance is received. The balance is due after the ceremony. See our Refund & Reschedule Policy and Samagri & Dakshina Policy.
• Muhurat and pandit availability are subject to confirmation.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate booking details (address, date/time, tradition, contact) and keep ready any host-arranged items we communicate.
• Provide a safe, suitable space for the ceremony, including a fire-safe area for any homa.
• Treat the assigned pandit with respect and cooperate for timely completion.

4. Pandit assignment & substitution

The site does not currently publish evidence of a universal identity, background or vidhi-verification programme. Confirm the assigned pandit's identity, working language, relevant ceremony experience, agreed ritual scope and any checks important to your decision before paying. In rare cases such as illness or an emergency, we may propose a substitute and share the same booking-specific details for confirmation. If no suitable pandit can be provided, the advance is handled under our Refund & Reschedule Policy.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations, reschedules and refunds are governed by our Refund & Reschedule Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. E-puja / NRI bookings

For remote bookings, the written confirmation states who performs the sankalp and whether live participation, a recording or eligible prasad delivery is included. Availability and streaming quality depend on the booking, venue, destination and connectivity.

7. Limitation of liability

We deliver services with due care and devotion, but we do not guarantee any specific spiritual, material or personal outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

8. Intellectual property

The Pandit For You name, content and design are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to courts with competent jurisdiction.
