Editorial, sourcing & corrections policy

Our guides are written to help a family ask better questions, compare a ceremony scope and prepare safely. We distinguish operational facts from religious tradition, cite primary sources where they materially support a claim, and do not promise spiritual outcomes.

Who publishes the guides?

The Pandit For You Editorial Team publishes the site’s guides. An organization byline is used instead of inventing a named author. When a real subject specialist reviews an article and consents to attribution, the page will identify the reviewer, review scope and date.

How information is checked

  1. Service facts: prices, duration, pandit count, payment terms and inclusions are compared with the current service and policy pages. The final written booking quote remains authoritative.
  2. Dates and official procedures: festival dates, temple rules and institutional practices use the relevant government, temple trust or other primary source where one is available.
  3. Religious practice: language such as “traditionally,” “commonly” and “may” is used where families, regions or sampradayas differ. A common sequence is not presented as the only valid vidhi.
  4. Sensitive subjects: astrology is described as traditional spiritual guidance, not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Devotional ceremonies are not presented as guaranteed treatment or guaranteed results.

Source and link policy

Material source links appear close to the claim they support. We prefer official temple trusts, government publications and primary institutional material. A source can support a definition or a temple’s own practice without proving that every household tradition follows the same sequence. Commercial service prices are sourced from Pandit For You’s current service data and are labelled as starting prices where applicable.

Updates and dates

An article keeps its original publication date. Its updated date changes only after a meaningful revision such as correcting a material fact, adding a cited section, changing current service information or replacing an important image. The XML sitemap follows the same principle and does not stamp every URL with the build time.

Corrections

To report an error, email care@panditforyou.com with the page URL, the statement in question and any supporting source. The team reviews the page and, when a material correction is made, updates the visible revision date and sitemap freshness date. Booking or service concerns should include the booking reference and go to the same care channel.

Commercial relationship

The guides sit on a commercial booking website and may link to relevant Pandit For You services. Those links do not change the sourcing standard. The site does not publish fabricated reviews, practitioner credentials, temple affiliations or guaranteed outcomes.
