Book Navagraha Homa

Navagraha Homa is a fire ritual propitiating the nine planetary deities — Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu. Offerings of the prescribed samidha and grains are made to each graha with its mantra as a devotional prayer concerning planetary influences; the ritual does not guarantee a particular outcome.

When is Navagraha Homa performed?

Families traditionally choose it before major undertakings, during periods they regard as graha peeda, or when a practitioner interprets planetary doshas in a kundli; it is also performed alongside Griha Pravesh or a new venture.

Need help choosing a muhurat or related ceremony?

An astrology consultation can help your family review traditional timing considerations and discuss which ceremony, if any, fits your circumstances. It is guidance, not a guarantee, and you decide whether to book. Discuss timing & traditions →

What’s included

Nine sacred woods (samidha) for each graha, the nine grains (navadhanya), navaratna or substitute items, ghee and the full homa samagri. Your written checklist separates the standard items supplied for the ritual from flowers, fruit, food, seating or other items the host may need to keep ready.

* A note on pricing: the displayed amount is a starting price excluding applicable GST. The final written quote may change with the ceremony scope, festival demand, pandit count, language, tradition, muhurat, city, travel and samagri requirements. Frequently asked questions

What is included in the price?

The starting price of ₹4,600 covers the pandit’s dakshina and all listed samagri, plus travel within city limits.

Can I book in my language and tradition?

Tell us your preferred language and tradition. We seek a suitable pandit; before payment, confirm the assigned person’s language, relevant ritual experience, agreed vidhi and any checks actually completed.

Do you check my horoscope before the homa?

If requested, an astrologer may explain how they interpret the kundli and whether their tradition would consider a graha-specific observance. That interpretation is optional guidance, not an objective diagnosis.

How long does the Navagraha Homa take?

Around two and a half to three hours, as each of the nine planets is invoked and offered separately.
