Book Namkaran & Annaprashan
Namkaran is the naming ceremony for a newborn, and Annaprashan marks the baby’s first taste of solid food (rice). Both are joyful samskaras performed with Navagraha blessings, a short havan and sankalp in the child’s name and gotra.
When is Namkaran & Annaprashan performed?
Namkaran is traditionally on the 11th or 12th day after birth; Annaprashan around the 6th month. We help you fix an auspicious date.
