Book Gana (Ganapathi) Homa
Gana Homa, or Ganapathi Homa, is the fire worship of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and lord of beginnings. Offerings of modaka, durva and the prescribed samidha are made with the Ganapati mantras so that any new undertaking proceeds without hindrance; it is often the opening ritual before larger pujas and homas.
When is Gana (Ganapathi) Homa performed?
Performed at the start of any new venture, home, or ceremony, on Sankashti and Ganesh Chaturthi, and whenever obstacles need to be cleared.
