It adds chanting from the Mrita Sanjeevini tradition to the Maha Mrityunjaya vidhi, making the observance longer and more elaborate. It does not guarantee recovery or another medical outcome.
Can it be performed on behalf of a hospitalised patient?
A sankalp may be taken in the patient’s name while the patient continues their medical treatment. Confirm participation and venue details before booking, and never delay urgent care for a ritual.
