Ayushya Homam is a fire ritual performed to bestow long life, health and vitality, invoking the deities of longevity with the Ayushya Sukta. It is a favoured ritual on birthdays and for children, offering the prescribed samidha and ghee so the person is granted good health and a full lifespan free of untimely harm.
When is Ayushya Homam performed?
Traditionally performed on birthdays (especially a child’s), on the first birthday, at milestone ages such as Shashtipoorthi, and during periods of ill-health.
What’s included
Durva, the Ayushya Sukta recitation, ghee, milk, the longevity mantras, havan kundam and the full homa samagri. We bring everything needed, so you only have to be present. A larger ceremony, outstation travel or premium add-ons (if any) are shown clearly before you pay.
