Ayushya Homam is a fire ritual performed to bestow long life, health and vitality, invoking the deities of longevity with the Ayushya Sukta. It is a favoured ritual on birthdays and for children, offering the prescribed samidha and ghee so the person is granted good health and a full lifespan free of untimely harm.
When is Ayushya Homam performed?
Traditionally performed on birthdays (especially a child’s), on the first birthday, at milestone ages such as Shashtipoorthi, and during periods of ill-health.
What’s included
Durva, the Ayushya Sukta recitation, ghee, milk, the longevity mantras, havan kundam and the full homa samagri. We bring everything needed, so you only have to be present. Extra pandits, outstation travel or premium add-ons (if any) are shown clearly before you pay.
